2026年5月22日、豊田工業高等専門学校が申請していた、国立高等専門学校機構の「令和8年度グローバルアントレプレナーシッププログラム」に採択されました。
本プログラムは、**「多国籍協働型ものづくり技術者のためのアントレリーダーシップ育成プログラム（Global Entrepreneurship Programme 2027）」**と題し、全国の高専生を対象に英国で約3週間の海外研修を実施するものです。
英国のBurton and South Derbyshire College（BSDC）を中心とした教育機関や産業界との連携により、ものづくり、リーダーシップ、アントレプレナーシップを組み合わせた実践的な教育プログラムを計画しています。
本プログラムでは、英国の産業革命の歴史やものづくり文化を学ぶとともに、企業訪問、課題解決型学習（PBL）、異文化交流などを通じて、国際的な環境で主体的に考え、行動できる技術者の育成を目指します。
単なる語学研修にとどまらず、日本のものづくりの特徴や自身の価値観を見つめ直し、異なる文化的背景を持つ人々と協働する力を養うことを重視しています。
都築は、本プログラムの企画・運営を担当しており、これまでの国際交流活動で培った経験を活かしながら、英国側の教育機関と協力して研修内容の具体化を進めていきます。
今後、2027年2月から3月の実施に向けて、全国の高専生が参加できる教育プログラムとして準備を進めていきます。
【Education】Global Entrepreneurship Programme 2027 Selected for Funding
On May 22, 2026, the National Institute of Technology (KOSEN), Toyota College was officially selected to implement a project under the FY2026 KOSEN Global Entrepreneurship Programme.
The project, entitled “Entrepreneurial Leadership Development Programme for Multinational Collaborative Engineers” (Global Entrepreneurship Programme 2027), will provide students from KOSEN colleges across Japan with an approximately three-week educational experience in the United Kingdom.
In collaboration with Burton and South Derbyshire College (BSDC) and its industry partners, the programme will integrate engineering, leadership, and entrepreneurship through practical, experience-based learning.
Participants will explore the history of the Industrial Revolution and the UK’s manufacturing heritage while engaging in company visits, project-based learning (PBL), and cross-cultural activities.
The programme aims to develop globally minded engineers who can think independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Rather than focusing solely on English language acquisition, the programme encourages students to reflect on Japan’s manufacturing traditions, reconsider their own perspectives, and develop the skills needed to address challenges in an international environment.
Associate Professor Keita Tsuzuki is involved in the planning and coordination of the programme, drawing on his experience in international educational collaboration to develop its curriculum in partnership with UK institutions.
Preparations are now underway for the programme, scheduled to take place in February–March 2027, with the aim of providing KOSEN students from across Japan with meaningful opportunities for international learning and personal growth.
